Rules and regulations for the participants. 1. Teams 1.1 The teams that you shall use to play in the competition must be of the original team that Fifa 99 provided. You may not purchase any players from anywhere nor sell your players. In other words, the default team that Fifa 99 has provided. 1.2 You are not allowed to update your leagues or teams in any way when playing against an opponent. But if you are playing it yourself against players not from this competition I would not mind if you update your league but you'll have to reinstall your Fifa 99 to get back your default team. 1.3 Player stats may not be changed in any ways. Jerseys, stadiums, ad boards, etc may not be changed. This may cause problems in game play so it is best to avoid making these kind of changes. 1.4 You may make tactical changes and substitutions any time in during the game. You can also request the 'away' team to Reset All Team Management as Fifa 99 MIGHT NOT allow the 'Home' team to make changes before the game. 2. Game 2.1 The Away team is responsible for making the call to the home team. The Home team is responsible for recording and submitting the results as soon as the game ends. Games must be played on the official dates unless prior arrangements are made with the organisers, and results must be submitted within that time period also. 2.2 If during a game a 'dropout' or 'out of sync' error occurs, both players must either replay the match or resort to some other means to complete the games. 2.3 Conceivably a player who is losing could flick their modem off and force a restart. But seeing as all the participants to this competition are mature and responsible gamers who value enjoyment over petty and juvenile displays of that nature, this won't be a problem will it? 2.4 The games results are to be sent through the Send Results form which will be available in the coming days or so just before the actual competition starts. 2.5 You may pause the game at any time but try not to do it at a
